BLACK IRON PARTICIPATION IN US EXIM CONFERENCE & CIM MONTREAL
TORONTO, CANADA, May 1, 2025 – Black Iron Inc. (“Black Iron” or the “Company”) (TSX: BKI) CEO, Matt Simpson, recently participated in the United States Export Import (EXIM) annual conference in Washington DC attended by over 1200 investors, Development Finance Agency representatives, policy makers and companies in a keynote lunch panel entitled “Mobilizing Private Capital for Ukraine Recovery and Reconstruction”. The panel was moderated by Romina Bandura (Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)), and in addition to Matt included Oskar Lewnowski (Founder & CEO, Orion Resource Partners), Natalie Jaresko (Managing Director, EY-Parthenon) and Irina Paliashvili (CEO, US-Ukraine Business Council) who shared insights on opportunities to invest in Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts and commentary on the establishment of the United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund.

Matt will also be participating on a keynote Iron Ore Panel at the upcoming Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy (CIM) CONNECT 2025 conference in Montreal on May 7, 2025 being moderated by Lucy Potter (GM Technical, RioTinto Minerals) alongside fellow panellists Zonika Ramsey (CFO, Iron Ore Company of Canada), Greame Weeks (COO, ArcelorMittal Canada) and Alexandre Belleau (COO, Quebec Iron Ore).
